First Tapas

Our first day in Madrid we stayed at the ME Reina Victoria by Melia situated on the Plaza de Santa Ana. Thus it was convenient for us to begin tapas with an outdoor table at Lateral right outside our door. The plaza was full and we were fortunate that a table departed as we approached. We enjoyed bacalao, a plate of jamon Iberico, and ham croquetas and glasses of wine and our view of the activity on the plaza.
